Longing

The composition is deliberately reduced and focused, with one central point drawing attention. To the figure,

a simplified, portrait-like form

of a woman. On a geometric, minimized version of an eye, and a tear dripping from it.

“Longing” may be perceived as a work prompting reflection on emotional states associated with desire, separation,

and unattainability, with longing.

The author presents a minimalist composition that with subtle emphasis speaks of the deeply human feeling

of longing. The use of soft colors creates a sense of calm.

This work can be interpreted

as a commentary on human experience, desire, and the search for safe places.

To crossing boundaries, both physical and metaphorical. With faith

that somewhere, albeit far away, safe haven awaits us.
