Levitation
“Levitation” continues thematic explorations of emotions, interpersonal interactions in the form of an abstract depiction of the movement of shapes. The composition consists of simplified, geometric forms scattered against
a background with subtle, hazy characteristics.
The elements in the painting appear
to be in a state of weightlessness, floating above the surface.
They symbolize lightness
or a lack of anchoring.
The arrangement of forms seems random, reflecting perhaps chaos, confusion, suspension in void,
a lack of structure in interpersonal relationships. The absence of a starting point.
This gives a strong sense of uncertainty.
It's a metaphor for a state of suspension, an abstract space where emotions
and reactions are in the process
of forming, and their ultimate shape remains uncertain. “Levitation” portrays the subtle and complex nature
of interpersonal relationships
in the context of the unknown.
