Terracotta
This is a step further in experimenting with the simplified figure created
by the author of the “Limits” series.
A rhythmic composition with linear elements that intersect the canvas
at regular intervals. Cropped bodies
in this arrangement give an impression of order and calm, simultaneously creating a harmonious abstract landscape. Lines and their subtle curvatures and bulges introduce dynamism and remind of the constant variability of nature.
Using abstract forms and lines, the artist evokes the human figure in a reduced, almost symbolic manner.
“Terracotta,” like other works in this series, attempts to explore questions
of existence, the meaning of life,
and the complexity of human experience.
It reminds us of the unlimited potential and resilience of the human spirit, capable of crossing boundaries.
The image does not end within the frame of the canvas; we can only imagine what is, could be, beyond…
The vastness of the landscape provides ample space for personal interpretations.
