Umbrella
“Umbrella” is a depiction of close interpersonal relationships. Relationships between a mother and child, friends, sisters… human connections.
The umbrella is a metaphor
for the boundaries we are capable
of setting to protect our personal
and emotional spaces. This painting reflects personal territory and boundaries that everyone has. Each their own.
It's a story about how people create their own emotional
and psychological spaces, both
for protection and for expressing their own identity.
The author explores the complexity
of interpersonal relationships
in the context of the need to protect oneself, others, and privacy, as well as the emotional and social aspects
of creating and adhering to these boundaries. It prompts reflection
on our personal boundaries and their impact on interactions with others.
