Entanglements II
In contrast to the uniform, austere tone of Englaments I, here color dominates, giving the work a softer, more humanistic character. Instead of a single, rigid system, we encounter diversity—color suggests individuality, emotionality, and the possibility of multiple voices within one structure. The composition still maintains rhythm and order, but it resembles less a technical diagram and more an organic organism.
Englaments II addresses the theme of boundaries, but in a different register—instead of isolation or submission to the system, it reveals the possibility of coexistence among many voices, identities, and directions. The individuals—symbolized by the colorful heads—are part of the same network, yet they preserve their distinctiveness. Here, color becomes a carrier of diversity and the potential for communication, rather than just structure.
This painting can be read as a metaphor for an inclusive society, where boundaries do not necessarily divide but rather define the space of shared existence. It is also a commentary on contemporary technological networks—on the one hand, complex, yet on the other, capable of becoming spaces of encounter.
