Bodily strings III - Summer

“Bodily strings III – Summer” from the “Limits series by Magdalena Nowatkowska. Minimalist linear composition. This time the author focuses on summer moods and emotional peace. In this part of the series, the colors change to subtle shades of white and warm ochre. Which suggests a gentler approach to the subject and may symbolize good emotions,  warmth that brightens and warms, putting you in a good mood.

The composition is kept in a minimalist style, characteristic of the entire series. The image may be a metaphor for the emotional relief that summer brings. The lines on the canvas, as in previous works, are not perfectly straight or parallel. Their curves are subtle and the composition is harmonious and delicate.
Warm ocher brings to mind summer sunsets or the colors of the earth warmed by it, feelings of relaxation, rest, comfort and peace. White, on the other hand, may resemble the illuminated summer sky, adding lightness and spaciousness to the composition. This is clearly a record of good emotions.

 It is a continuation of the dialogue about boundaries, but with a very positive, optimistic tone that conveys hope for overcoming limitations and celebrating life despite everything.
