Focus London October 4-7, 2023
I had the honor of participating in the prestigious Focus London art fair, presenting one of my series titled “Boundaries”. It was a unique opportunity to showcase my work to a wider audience and meet other artists and art lovers.
In my “Boundaries” series, I explored the sense and nonsense of the existence of boundaries, reflecting the unpredictable phenomena of our times, including the echoes of war. The works are a response to what I see, feel, and observe as an artist. It’s a study of interpersonal relationships, reactions to fear, uncertainty, and the opportunities that emerge in difficult times. A characteristic of the series is the simplified figurative style, with the dominant element of an exaggerated eye, highlighting the emotionality and depth of human experience.
Watching how the audience interacted with the images, finding their own stories and emotions in them, was an invaluable experience for me. The discussions that ensued around my paintings exceeded my expectations, offering diverse interpretations and a deep understanding of the message.
Focus London 2023 proved to be not just a platform for presenting my works but also a place for exchanging thoughts and views with other artists and art lovers. This interaction was extremely valuable. It allowed me to deepen my own ideas and concepts in art.
My experiences at Focus London were not only an affirmation of my artistic work but also an opportunity for growth and forming new, meaningful relationships in the art world.
I sincerely thank the organizers and all participants for the unforgettable moments and inspiring conversations. I look forward to future opportunities to share my passion for art.
