Seaside landscape – of silence, light, and serenity

Spring always encourages a more mindful connection with nature. I like to observe it, feel it, admire it, and capture it in my paintings. It is from such moments—travel, everyday observations, details, and emotions—that my works are created.

One of them is “Seaside Landscape” from the “Limits” series. A painting that, in a special way, tells the story of my relationship with water.

I was born by the sea, and for nearly 20 years I have lived by a lake.

About the painting

“Seaside Landscape” is, for me, the essence of what time spent by the sea offers. I always choose quiet places—those where nothing disturbs the connection with nature. It is there that I feel the beauty of nature most deeply. I truly value that silence. It has a uniquely soothing effect on me.

This painting is a story about the pleasure of being close to nature. About a moment of stillness. About light, space, and the emotions that arise when one can truly experience silence. It is a painterly record of what moves me most deeply—a landscape of calm that stays with a person for a long time.
